We woke up to the second day of our Spring Break Vacay to cinnamon rolls and lots of playing! The kids got along so well and it just made me miss the Millers living close even more than I already do!
The girls really miss not having a dog {and we are constantly hearing about it}...and the Millers have two little dogs that can be picked up and carried around. The girls were happy campers, but I am pretty sure Maximus and Hercules were probably NOT loving the extra attention!
This little girly was happy to have something real to carry around!
We watched the first part of the Lady Bear game before we headed to lunch while the kids took turns taking pictures of us grown folks!
I love how all five kiddos cooperated for the Kids Picture!
(l-r): Gracyn (7), Ashton (9), Landry (4), Braxton (5), and Karston (11)
The Millers took us to another fabulous restaurant on the water called "Friends". Other been being a little chilly, we had a great time and food was delish!
One last picture of the kids before we left! We are so glad we stopped and spent the night with the Millers. It was so great to hang out and catch up! We are definitely waiting for the next time we can get together!
The rest of our drive was pretty easy until we hit some traffic in Mobile. One of the things we encountered in Mobile was "the tunnel". Daddy told the girls that the tunnel took us underwater and that we needed to hold our breath. Landry doesn't know better than to believe what her Daddy tells her, and Ashton didn't think it was true, but wasn't about to risk it. It was hilarious because what did I do? I took pictures of course...I am the Mamarazzi after all!
The view as we were heading into the tunnel {which was funny because from this point on we saw mostly cars with Texas license plates--all headed to Spring Break!}
It was pretty cool to see the road on the GPS going through the water...
...but seeing everyone hold their breath was even better! It took all I had not to laugh as I was snapping pictures! Eventually everyone exploded with giggles and belly laughs....it was a fun memory for sure!
The USS Alabama was a pretty cool site to see as we drove by.
And then we arrived in Perdido Key, Florida. Our condo was beautiful and the view that greeted us as we walked in was perfect!
I am so glad I had my camera out and captured the girls looking out the window over the water. Landry jumped up and down squealing with delight and Ashton was in awe!
We were so excited to start our week long Spring Break Vacay at the beach!!
Dinner looking out the window at the water....priceless!
We met up and walked on the beach with everyone for a bit while Daddy went and grabbed some groceries. We spent the first night hanging out in the Gees' condo, which was a perfect way to spend the second day of our vacay!
