spring break :: day three

One of the best things about the condo was this view from the bed in the master bedroom. It was so awesome to wake up to the ocean.

After the girls had been up late for two nights in a row....we knew a nap (and a couple of attitude adjustments) would be in order before we had any fun for the day. They desperately needed it and that also gave us some time to figure out a plan since it was an overcast day and not exactly perfect for hanging out down on the beach.

After lunch and a nap, we decided to have some good old family fun playing a round of Miniature Golf!

This was Landry's first time and she loved it! She thought she was such a BIG girl playing golf. She was especially happy that she was able to choose her own turquoise ball!

Our two especially cooperative girls gave me their best pirate faces and "arrrrgh matey" for this picture on our way to one of the holes!

I got a hole in one with my purple ball! Then Daddy got a hole in one too!

I loved this picture of all four balls in the same cup!

The Gees were there too, but they got there before we did so they were finished first. They came over to hang with us while we finished up and took some pictures for us!

       On our way home from Miniature Golf, we stopped and picked up some fresh shrimp to make some good old southern gumbo for dinner! It was delish and the perfect first official dinner in the condo!

After everyone finished with dinner, the Gees and Wrights came over to hang out at our condo for the evening. The kids played and watched a movie while us adults played some cards. Day three was fun even without stepping onto the sandy beach!
