The day after Christmas, we loaded up and made the hour and half drive to Tennessee so we could visit Great Grandmom, Aunt Kathi and Uncle Jack. The drive was so pretty since the snow covered the trees and the mountain...the scenery seriously looked like a post card.
We had a little lunch and then it was time for more presents.
Landry was totally in love with her ladybug jewelry box filled with little girl jewelry. She needed Daddy to help her put on every single piece of it!
how in the world does she look so BIG....wow!
... and how in the world does she look so grown up...what is happening!
Landry was having an absolute ball dressing up in Uncle Todd's stuff and he was having just as much fun helping her!
After a while we it was time for us to head out...we didn't want to wear out our welcome and we knew we needed to head back before the roads got bad. We took some family pix before we left.

This was a nice way to spend the last day of our trip. We are ready to be home but at the same time we always wish we could stay longer. Time sure does seem to go by at warp speed when you are on vacation. Now I just need to figure out where in the world to put all the goodies we got.
We truly enjoyed our week in Alabama and we are so glad we got to see a good bit of Daddy's side of the family while were there. We appreciate Mamo, Papo, and Uncle Todd letting us invade their house. They really worked hard to make this Christmas a memorable one for our girls!
