Merran came and spent the day with us and even spent the night with us too. Since she got here just after lunch and right when LP was going down for her nap, I knew the Big Girls would need something to occupy them that would keep them quiet. So....we busted out the Shrinky Dinks that Ashton got for her birthday. Talk about giddy....these two girls were so excited to do them and I was super excited for them to see the Shrinky Dinks in action!
They were oooohing and ahhhhing while they watched them shrink and curl and flatten in the oven. They were able to use the Fairy themed Shrinky Dinks to make jewelry and hair clips. They were even pretty impressed with the fact that Shrinky Dinks existed when I was a little girl.
The England Fewells sure picked out a winner of a birthday gift for our BG...she loved it!
Merran made a little coin purse and both girls made a bracelet turned anklet.
The girls had fun spending the afternoon watching The Haunted Mansion (the Disney version) and playing out in the backyard. We even had time to make and decorate Halloween Cookies.
Merran's parents had a great time on their Anniversary Date Night and we had fun having Merran hang out with us. The Shrinky Dinks were a huge hit as were the cookies and pizza picnic on the patio for dinner!
