I am so glad we have friends that love traditions right along with me. Last year, Landry went to the Big Orange Pumpkin Patch with her two friends Reese and Elyse. The girls had fun and I was so excited when Miss Susan and Miss Becky wanted to take the girls again this year. So since we have done it two years in a row, that makes it a tradition now. So from here on out, Landry and her friends have their own tradition every October!
This year the pumpkin patch was way more fun with the girls. They were totally into it...they loved feeding the animals and they loved the hayride and they loved picking their pumpkins. What they didn't love so much was taking pictures.
This year we had a special treat...Reese's Nanny and Poppy came with us. Landry has met and been around them a few times before and she was so excited that Nanny and Poppy were there too. And I am proud of Reesey P because she shared her grandparents quite nicely, which is hard to do when you are two!
Landry was pumped and ready to feed the animals.
The girls wasted no time feeding the animals. Landry went through her cup of feed pretty fast.
This cow was seriously giant...I think his head was almost as big as Landry!
There were cows, goats, sheep, and chickens to feed. Landry could not get enough of the animals!
She spotted this goat and ran over to it at mock speed...when she got there she talked to it in her sweet little baby voice and gave it a kiss like it was her long lost friend!
Reesey P was totally cracking up at the goats licking her hand and the then it took the cup of food and she giggled and giggled!
Landry and Elyse
We tried to get a good picture of the three of them together and this was as good as I could get.
They are getting so big...Reesey P and Elyse stayed nice and still for me to get a picture
...and Landry, well she would not let go of that pumpkin for anything so Miss Becky had to help get her to stand still. It was literally and soon as Miss Becky put Landry in the spot and moved, I had to snap the picture super fast.
Then it was time for the hay ride...again this is the best I was able to get with my camera!
She found her pumpkin and a pumpkin for Sisser. She was very much in love with her pumpkin this year!
These guys were away from the other animals but Landry didn't care, she was quite taken with the cows.
Reese tried her hand at roping a cow and actually did pretty good!
My little punkin with her pumpkin!
It was s super fun day at the pumpkin patch. The weather was beautiful and the girls had a blast. This is another tradition I will look forward to every year.
