Snow in March???

Thanks to Texas weather not only did we get snow in March but we got it twice in one week!! On top of that we had several warm days in between. It snowed here on Monday night but it was all melted by the time Ashton got home from school so she wasn't able to play in it. Luckily for her, it snowed again today starting around lunch time and didn't stop until around supper time. It was very big fluffy snowflakes which was very pretty.

When Bobby got home, they went outside to play in it and build a snowman. Landry once again didn't get to enjoy the outside weather. The wind takes her breath away and she HATES to be cold! She viewed it from the window and hung out in her swing so I could take pictures from the front porch. Buster wanted to be outside with them but wanted no part of the snow...he watched from the front porch.

I made the slideshow because there were so many pictures... Look at the huge smile on Ashton's face. It was on her face the entire time. She didn't care that she was cold and wet...she had so much fun and she laughed and laughed and laughed. It was a wonderful time! When they were done, I made them hot chocolate. Ashton doesn't like hot chocolate but tries it every once in a while just to in case she changes her mind. Enjoy the pictures. By the way, we like snow once a year and we like that is only lasts for a day or two max! It is funny how people in Texas tend to freak out and over-react when there is even the possiblity of snow.
