Just to recap for you: she was born at 6 lbs and 19 inches with really, really bad jaundice. At her one month check up she weighed 7 lbs 5 oz (still not at Ashton's birthweight) and was 20 inches long and still jaundice.
At her two month check up she weighed in at a whopping 10 lbs and 2 oz, was 22 inches long and no more jaundice! Yippeeee! She has the cutest little fat rolls now and a double chin...I just love it! Dr. Newton was very impressed with her this time, in fact he said she is gaining weight like a champ and asked if we had given her any formula and I said nope...she is strictly breastfed! For a while there she was not on a feeding schedule-but now she is on a 3 hour schedule. Unfortuately she has "symptomatic reflux" he gave us some medicine to try that will hopefully help with the acid that is probably burning her esophagus...poor baby! It won't control the spit up (which she does ALL the time). We are hoping this will make her more comfortable.
She had to have shots and I had to take this on all by myself since Bobby is in Houston. When Ashton had her shots I was a wreck...I cried and couldn't hold her down...it was awful but Bobby was there to step in and take over! Landry let us know that she didn't care for the shots at all....I have never seen her cry like that before. Her face was all red and she even had real tears for the first time...it was so sad. I held myself together and didn't cry this time. I got a lump in my throat and maybe my eyes were wetter than normal.
She is smiling and talking a lot which we all love but I think Ashton loves it the most. She continues to amaze me at how well she is doing with her "Big Sister" role. She loves that baby so much and is so proud of her. She has been a huge help to me this week and very patient!
Okay...sorry for the long post but hopefully the following pictures will be entertaining to you...

Wow...when you show the progression she looks HUGE!!!!!!!!! What a cutie! Can't wait to get some more cuddles! :)
She is such a cutie!! I can totally relate to your shot story as well. With Grace I had no idea what I was in store for and I think that I cried as much as she did. She did that "open mouth but no sound is coming out" scream and I had to blow on her face to get her to breathe again! It sounds like you guys are all getting into a routine and are doing great :)
I just laughed sooo hard at the difference in her...it is unbelievable!! She looks just like you, I only wish one of your girls had inherited your eyes...thats it, must have another! :)
What a beautiful baby. So glad she is growing and has fat rolls. Give Ashton a gold star for being such a wonderful Big Sister---Love Grampy
What a buddah belly she has!!! She's growing like a weed. Sounds and looks like she likes Mommy's milk.
Keep up the good work. Ashton, I knew you were going to make a great Big Sister and from all I've seen, you are!!! Love, Mom/Grammy
