Spring Break Day 6

Day 6 :: March 12th

What a beautiful way to wake up!

I used this morning to take a few pictures from our balcony. This was looking down on the outdoor pool...we didn't get it in one time since it was way too cold! But it sure was pretty to look at!

We loved snuggling under the blankets just enjoying the sounds of the ocean in the morning. And the girls took full advantage of the ice maker inside our condo....they must have filled their cups every time they walked out to the balcony!

Breakfast on the patio was also nice and not something we do often at home!

We loved The Gulf so much when we went on our first day, we had to go back for lunch again and this time we wanted the Wrights to try it out too. I seriously could've eaten there every single day!

This is astro-turf from the Alabama National Championship game...we thought it was neat that they bought it after the game was over and brought it back to their little restaurant on the beach.

I loved that their menu is handwritten, it's small, and fresh so it changes daily! We had the grouper sandwich which was delish and the kiddos had grilled cheese of course!

This was cool...a fence with locks on it!

The kiddos loved playing on the beach area while we finished eating...best place ever! Kids were contained and happy so we could chat and enjoy the atmosphere a little longer!

I also loved that they had  these yellow roses which made me think of Texas...not to mention they were so pretty in these turquoise vases on the tables.

After lunch we headed down to the beach. While we were down there, we met a super sweet family from Tennessee. They just happened to have a daughter who was Landry's age. Lainey was just as sweet and sociable as Landry so they hit it off pretty well. She joined our crew and got a long really well. She was an only child and LOVED having other kids to play with!

After some time on the beach, the boys fired up the grill for a cookout! It was so nice to have a cookout with a beach view!!
