Spring Break Day 7

Day 7 :: March 13th

After checking the weather for today and seeing that it was going to be a bit too chilly to be on the beach, we decided to use today as our day of fun away from the water. We ventured  down to the wharf to see what kind of stuff we could find...
The girls had never been on a Ferris wheel in their life, so we made sure we rode it. Daddy isn't a fan of heights and I thought for sure he was going to "opt" out of the Ferris wheel ride...but he was a trooper and even though he didn't like it, he still rode it with us!

Ashton was a wee bit nervous too! At one point, I almost wet my pants from laughing so hard! There was a loud noise as we were going around and Ashton and Bobby literally about jumped out of their skin and the looks on their faces was priceless!

A little stop for Dippin Dots!

Souvenir pennies on the wharf...I remember these as a kid and love that my girls love them too!

After we finished piddling around on the wharf, we stopped for a round of miniature golf. The girls had so much playing last year that we knew we wanted to do it again this year! At the entrance, the girls think this little prisoner thingy-ma-bob is so fun!

Both Daddy and Ashton got a hole- in-one on the 11th hole...impressive!

Mommy got a hole-in-one on the 2nd hole, and Little Miss P got her hole-in-one on the 16th hole. We were all pretty excited when Landry got hers! Not easy for a little 5 year old to do!

Momma and her girlies!! I am usually the one behind the camera making everyone stop and pose for pictures but this time since Daddy was holding the camera he insisted I get IN the picture.

The hole where Landry got her hole-in-one happened to be a "free game hole"...meaning, if you got a hole-in-one you earned a free game on your next trip. She was super proud of that special gold coin!!

After a day of not being on the beach, we met up in the Wrights' condo for a nice game of Set Back. The kids hung out and watched movies while we played cards. Bobby wasn't doing so well in the game so he decided to stick his card to his bald head and show everyone what he was playing with. Sometimes Mr. Competitive can be a sore loser.

Great day on vacay!!
