Auntie Megan and her crew came up to spend the night with us and celebrate. Chase got to spend the weekend with his Nana & Pop all by himself for the first time ever. We had a grand plan all worked out but, you know what happens to plans...they almost always never go off without some kind of kink.
We decided we wanted to take Auntie Heather to Painting With A Twist. Ashton was supposed to have her first tourney of the spring season and Daddy and Uncle Ricci were going to handle that with the kids. Us girls were going to go to our painting party. Well, it rained so Ashton's tourney was canceled. The boys ended up getting to stay home with the kids while we still had our painting party. They kids had a blast playing at the house and they boys were able to watch whatever the sport of the day happened to be.
We were all excited to paint...my sweet friends Becky and Susan came to paint with us. Auntie Heather and Miss Susan share a birthday which is fun.
We stopped at Sonic and got us each a drink to have while we painted. You HAVE to have something to sip on to paint!
Here is our canvas before and after...these places make you feel like you are an actual artist!

After we finished our masterpieces, we grabbed some sandwiches from Subway to take home to eat for lunch with the rest of the gang. After an afternoon filled with piddling around, we head to Auntie Heather's birthday dinner at La Hacienda.
I am pretty sure it is some kind of rule that you MUST have your picture taken on these lil ponies.

After a yummy dinner, we came back to our house to do just a little bit more celebrating. Brodie made Auntie Heather's cake.
We had a fun day full of celebrating Auntie Heather's BIG birthday!!
