Two Little Jack-o-lanterns

I really love seeing the girls doing the same things. For example, I love when Landry can wear clothes that Ashton wore when she was the same age. I love waiting to do the same monumental things with each of the girls like the Bink Fairy coming to visit, getting their ears pierced, etc. 

When Ashton was about Landry's age, she made a super cute jack-o-lantern out of an orange paper plate.  It is one of my favorite decorations for Halloween/Fall. I always love pulling it out of the box and remembering when she made it and how she wrote her name. I love it so much that I decided it would be fun for Landry to make one too.

Landry was all over it! If Ashton made one, then of course it was good enough for her! So we gathered all of our necessary supplies and I let her go to town getting her craft on!

We had to start by having her write her name on the back..

...then it was time to paint the plate orange since we didn't have an orange one like Ashton's.

Landry did so well! She loves to do anything crafty and especially if paint is involved!

I am so happy with my jack-o-lantern decorations. One from each of my little pumpkins. Landry's is on the right and Ashton's is on the left.
