Surprise!!

If you have been around Landry for any length of time, you know she loves music, and you know she LOVES the Fresh Beat Band.

Back in November while she was watching an episode, she saw a commercial where the Fresh Beat Band was going to have a concert tour. She heard the list of cities they were going to be in and immediately began squealing! She came to me and said, "Momma, the Fresh Beat Band is going to have a concert in Chicago and Dallas and we need to get in line to buy our tickets!!!" {I love how her little mind works!}. I started doing a little research and found out they would be in Dallas in May. Bobby and I knew we couldn't miss this chance to take her, so we bought tickets. The funny part is that she wanted to get tickets for the Chicago show and Bobby could take her since he sometimes goes there for work! We opted out of Chicago, but got tickets for the Dallas show.

We also decided we wanted it to be a surprise...so as much as it was torture for us, we kept it a secret for all those months. However, it was totally worth it!

She had no idea where we were going. All we told her was that it was surprise and she was going to love it. It was so cute listening to try and guess where we were going!

We walked in to the Verizon Theater, and she saw the Fresh Beat Band stuff but at first it didn't sink in. She just thought it was a coincidence that there was FBB stuff there. When we told her, she made this face that I just happened to catch, then she started jumping up and down squealing!

Ashton was such a trooper! She didn't want to be there because it was a "little kid show" and it's not cool for an almost 10 year old to be watching the FBB, but she was excited for her lil sisser.

It was a fun afternoon and the Fresh Beat Band really aren't that bad. We were all bee-boppin' to the music, dancing and even singing along. I am so glad we went...and wouldn't you know that Landry still wants to go to Chicago with her Daddy to see them again, and this time she wants to be down by the stage so they will touch her hands! She is a hoot and I love her to pieces!!
