April Randoms

I did a better job of taking pictures for the month of April...

Landry made this neat little fossil at school. She was so proud!! I snapped a picture since this thing didn't hang around for very long!!

These ligustrum bushes in our front yard bloomed for the first time. This is my new favorite bush...the flowers are so pretty, they smell amazing, and they attract butterflies! For several weeks we had our own private butterfly garden--it was awesome. I only wish the flowers and butterflies hung around longer!

I finally found a Baylor flag for the front yard...Sic Em Bears!

For one of our Friday Night Movie Nights, the girls planned a little surprise for us. They were upstairs concocting some sort of plan. They were being very secretive...and when they came downstairs, they were so proud of themselves. They created a movie theater much like Studio Movie Grill! It was darling and so fun! They had tickets, name tags for themselves, menus...the works!

{Funny thing is, only one of the movie choices was actually a viable choice since the others were either still in theaters or not out yet!}

Each of the girls had a play date...Ava and Landry actually played really well together!

Daddy was out of town for work and like always, he calls the girls before bed. Landry always goes and stands in front of the mirror to watch herself talk to Daddy. I guess she figures if she sees herself it's kind of like him seeing her! 

Good Friday was actually a day off for the girls this year! We usually lose it to an ice day in either January or February. But not this year, so the girls and I had a lunch date on the patio at Tin Star! {Landry didn't want her picture taken, she wanted to go inside to get another straw}

Ashton had a late evening softball practice and since Daddy was out of town, she and I had to go. Landry wanted to "exercise walk like Mommy" which only lasted about 7 minutes!

Brodie celebrated his 18th birthday this month and we were able to celebrate with the entire fam complete with cupcakes and singing!
