Landry has had several very exciting days at school. She loves pretty much everything about school, but Friday pretty much topped everything!
She was the first one to bring the Story Bag home for her class!!!
She and Daddy barely made it through the door before she was pulling out all the contents of the bag! In fact, she was so fast that I didn't have time to get my camera out and capture the moment! I wish I would've been able to, because I am the only one who got to see the joy and excitement on her face! It was truly priceless!
She knew we needed to read the directions FIRST before we did anything else, so that is exactly what we did!
The book to read that tells all about Knuffle Bunny...
and Knuffle Bunny himself/herself.
{we weren't sure if Knuffle Bunny is a boy or a girl and the book didn't tell us, and I don't want to get it wrong!}

Landry was so sweet with Knuffle Bunny and pretty much didn't put him/her down all weekend. We took pictures of some of the things we did with Knuffle Bunny while he/she was visiting us so we could include them in the class journal.
First up was Family Movie Night...LP got all snuggled up comfy and cozy to watch "African Cats" with Knuffle Bunny. She was careful to set Knuffle Bunny to the side in her chair while she ate her movie snack of popcorn and M&Ms.
The girls got to have a sleepover in the downstairs guest room since it was storming. They set up their sleeping bags and Landry read the book to Knuffle Bunny before they went night-night. It was precious!
She spent all of Saturday morning playing and doing her own thing with Knuffle Bunny until it was time to get ready for the Daddy Daughter Dance. Knuffle Bunny had the best seat in the house watching Lan-Lan get her hair curled and nails painted.
Knuffle Bunny even got to be in some of the D-D-D pictures!
Knuffle Bunny didn't get to go the dance (we didn't want anything to happen to him/her) so he/she stayed in Landry's car seat with Mommy and Ashton when we dropped Landry and Daddy off. When we came back to pick them up, Knuffle Bunny was waiting to hear all about the big dance!
Sunday we took care of business sharing their adventures in the class journal. Landry dictated what she wanted me to write, then I gave her the pencil and let her do her own journaling.
I absolutely love watching her draw. She does a pretty good job when it has to do with circles and lines! Her portrait of Knuffle Bunny is so stinking cute just like Landry!!
We had so much fun keeping Knuffle Bunny for the weekend!
