Saturday was BIG day in our house. It was a whirlwind of a day that was all about our girls and we wouldn't have had it any other way!
We had a double dose of the annual Daddy Daughter Dance since this year we had not one, but TWO girls going! {Daddy wanted to keep it a special time for them so instead of combining them into one time frame, he took each girl to the time that correlated with her age. Landry's dance was from 2:00-3:30 and Ashton's dance was from 6:00-7:30.}
Landry's countdown to the big day was finally over. To say she was one happy little girl when the day of her FIRST Daddy Daughter Dance arrived is a "gianamic" understatement! {ginamic is a word that LP says all the time and I always forget to blog about it...this one of my favorite things she says!}
She was so excited and couldn't wait until it was time to get ready! We took a TON of pictures to document this memorable day for Little Miss Landry Paige...
She sat so still perched up on the bathroom counter and let me curl her hair. She thought she was HOT STUFF! Big Sis...supervised the preparation.
Oh My Lanta....I am in LOVE with this little girl!!

That smile is the REAL Lan-Lan P smile and I just can't get enough of it!!

She was so excited that Daddy had actual tickets for the "four year olders" dance.
{she also always says "four year olders or nine year olders" so I had to put this in too!}
She is a hoot...she wanted to be surprised with the corsage!
We had to get a picture after she was buckled in and ready to go!
I can't believe that she is a "four year older" and is old enough to attend this dance with her Daddy. She loved picking out her dress, she loved taking pictures, she loved that Daddy got her a corsage for her wrist, she loved that she was going to spend a few hours on a special date with her Daddy!
Ashton and I dropped Daddy and Lan-Lan off at the dance, then she and I headed home so Ashton could get a shower and I could dry her hair before it was time to go back and pick up our happy couple!
When they arrived at the dance they had their picture taken, visited the snack table complete with her favorite part of the whole dance--getting to drink a cup of Sprite! She had so much fun getting her groove on with her Daddy. When Ashton and I came to pick them up, P-Money wasn't quite ready to leave which is always a good sign!
It was definitely a day her Daddy and I will remember and hopefully she will have fond memories as well. I know her Daddy had a wonderful time and wouldn't change a thing about it! He cherishes any time with the girls and especially a fun time like this one!

oh my word! lanlan's facial expressions KILL ME! every shot captured the joy just oozing out of her! LOVE IT! and i'm so happy that she finally got to particpate in the ddd!!!
