I was fortunate enough to go to Ashton's winter party at school since it was during Landry's nap time and Daddy was able to work from home that afternoon. I love being able to help out when I can, and I love watching my Big Girl in her element. I really wanted to be at this one since it was the first party experience at her new school.
I was in charge of running one of the stations so I didn't have the chance to take very many pictures. I did try my best to get one of her at each activity.
There were four stations set up and the kids were split into groups and rotated through each station. The stations were: the craft which was a snowman on a sled made out of marshmallows, the "Would You Rather" game, the cookie decorating/snack station, and the snowman relay. It was a very well planned party and the kiddos had a fantastic time!
I was in charge of the "Would You Rather" game station. This is a game we play at home and it was PERFECT for these 4th graders. There are cards with a series of scenarios. They asked each other questions off the card like "would you rather eat out of a trash can or eat banana peels". It was hilarious!
This girl takes her cookie decorating seriously...I don't think she looked up until she was finished!
The snowman relay was her last station. They had to dress up in snowman gear and get it off first to win.
I loved being able to help out in her classroom, I loved being able to watch her interact with her friends and I loved watching her have such a great time! That smile and the giggle that comes with it brightens my day!

i really think that there's nothing cooler than getting a sneak peek into our kid's days when they're at school...and parties are the perfect way to do that!
i can see from ashton's happy smile that she was thrilled to have her mama there! :)
