So Proud!!

{warning...this is a proud momma post!!}

I love this girl.
I am so incredibly proud of this girl and no matter how many times I tell her, she will never really know the depth of my love and  how truly proud of I am of her.

I know she is a great kid, but she is also mine. She is fantastic and my absolute favorite 4th grader in the entire world.

She is loving fourth grade even though there is a lot of adjusting going on. She is handling it with a smile and and trying to keep a good attitude even when the going gets tough.

Today when I picked her up from school, she had two BIG announcements that she was super duper excited to share with us.

First off, after 6 weeks of school she is already on Level 5 of her punch card lanyard (there are 20 total) and she is the first and only one in her class to be at that level.
{As a way of recognizing positive behavior, any teacher in the building can give students a punch on their lanyard. When they fill their card, they earn a reward and they move on to the next color. The BIG reward for reaching Level 20 is "Wii Time". Yes....if she reaches level 20 she will get to play the Wii at school. This is her goal and she thinks it is the coolest thing to get to play the Wii at school.}

Secondly, she was voted into Student Council  for her class!!

I love her freckles.
I love her blue eyes, pale skin, and dark hair.
I love that those are the same features she shares with her Daddy.
I love that she was trying not to smile when I was taking these pictures.
I love that she thought it was weird that I busted out my camera as soon as we got home from school "for no reason". I told her that I had a reason...I was proud of her and that I just wanted some pictures of just HER!
I love her silly side.
I love her Big Sister side.
I love her serious side.
I love the way she thinks.
I love the way she laughs.
I love the way she is such a routine kind of kid.
I love that she is a girly girl...but loves to play softball too.
I love that sometimes she drives me absolutely crazy.
I love to watch her sing at the top of her lungs.
I love to watch her dance and prance around the house.
I love to watch her ride around the patio on her scooter over and over.
I love that she is a hard worker and generally has a good attitude.
I love that she is cautious (sometimes too much so).
I love to watch her interact with her friends.
I love her caring heart and sweet spirit.
I love that she belongs to me.
I love that I am her Mommy.
I love the way she loves and adores her Daddy.
I love how she will try anything at least once before deciding she doesn't like it.

This list could go on and on...but I do love this girl more than she will EVER know!
