Here we go...another edition of random pictures!
Getting ready for her game...gotta put on the eye black!
The 10th Anniversary of 9/11. It was a day filled with so many emotions, we found ourselves reflecting back on that day. As a way of honoring those who sacrificed and lost their lives on that day, we put flags in our front yard. It wasn't much but it was something.
A little play time on the patio for this little girl.
A sweet moment with Daddy...
...this is not a fake smile...it is a FULL -ON Landry smile and I love it!
On the days when I can't get a reservation for Landry at the gym, I put her in her stroller and I walk the neighborhood. As we were heading out on our walk, she asked if she could listen to the ipod. I was happy to hook her up since that meant my walk would last a little longer if she was happy! She loved singing and jamming to the ipod through the neighborhood!
A relaxing Saturday evening, enjoying dinner on our patio...I even love that Daddy decided to take this picture and not me for a change!
I seriously can't handle the"BIGness" of this kid...she was working on her homework when she got a phone call from her friend Kaitlyn. They chatted for a little bit about starting a club with a few friends. She was completely thrilled!
This is ONE PROUD LITTLE GIRL! She wrote her name all by herself and wanted to show it off!!
She hasn't been the least bit interested in writing her name. I have tried many times to work on it with her. Every now and then she wants to and today was one of those days. Ashton was doing her homework and as a way of trying to keep her from bothering her big sister, we practiced. This picture shows the practice...I would show her and tell her how to write a letter and she would do it! The y is the trickiest letter by far!
And this was the last attempt, the lines help her to put the letters next to each other rather than in any random place on the paper. The dots also help give her a starting and ending point.
And this was her wanting me to take a picture of her silly face!

Hey, so seriously?? You have TWO BIG GIRLS!! Landry is getting to be so grown-up and Ashton is, well, she's becoming quite a little lady. Oh I can remember starting clubs at her age. So fun!!
