Tuesdays are usually a very busy day in our house. It is "Softball Night in America" for both Ashton and Bobby. Ashton either has practice or a game and Bobby almost always has a game. By the end of the day we are all usually t.i.r.e.d!
Today happened to be a day where no one had anything AND we took full advantage of it!
Ashton has been chomping at the bit to go on a "real" bike ride with Daddy ever since they both got new bikes for their birthdays. Unfortunately, the record setting days with temps above 100 have put the kabosh on that idea. However, today happened to be an evening where it didn't seem to be too hot, so a bike ride was on our "To Do List".
After we had dinner, we had two little girls and a Daddy who were beyond thrilled to go for a ride!
This guy is not only my handsome hubby, he is also the best Daddy these girls could ask for!
The littlest Bryce girl was going ride her bike to the park by our house since her little legs and bike can't keep up with her Big Sis and Daddy just yet. Daddy and Ashton rode to the park too and gave Lan-Lan a few pushes on the swing before they took off on their ride.
helmets...check. tennis shoes....check. bikes....check. sunglasses...check.
These two were pretty excited to head out on their bike ride....I am so glad they took a moment to pose for a picture first!
It was nice to have an OFF night for a change and I am glad we took advantage of it for some quality family time. I cherish all the time we have together especially since the girls won't think it's fun to hang out with their parents forever.
