Since I had a Date Day with Ashton last week, this Saturday it was Landry's turn. So while Daddy and Ashton were at softball practice, Landry and I did our thing. I let Landry pick what we did and shocker....she wanted to go to the movies and have popcorn for lunch. If that sounds a bit familiar, well it does. In true Landry form, she wanted to do exactly what her Sisser did on her Mommy Date.
It was cute because she asked if Reese could come with us. We have been trying to get a playdate with these two all summer long, but this thing called "life" got in the way. Between schedules, and Reese getting sick, we just couldn't make it happen until now. We sure have missed Reesey P and Miss Becky!
Lucky for us, the Kidtoons movie at Studio Movie Grill was Candyland which was perfect! The girls were so excited to see each other. Their giant little hugs were precious and the smiles were plastered on their faces.
They were busy running around and chatting, that we barely got them to sit still long enough for a picture before we went in to the theater.

This was the extent of the pictures. We enjoyed our "lunch" and the movie and the company. It was good to finally see Reesey P and Miss Becky.
Landry was in hog heaven after having lunch with Elyse on Friday and a movie date with Reese! Now, I think she is officially ready to end her summer and start school.
