Today our little Landry Paige started her second year of preschool. She was more than excited and couldn't wait! She had so much fun taking pictures out on the patio before we left. I love that her sassy little personality came out in the pictures!

I cannot believe how much she has changed since this time last year! WOW!
This was weird lighting or a setting or something, but I included it because she is looking at her Daddy!
And there is our SASSY littlest girl!!!
I had to move her away from the window because she was too busy watching herself pose and wouldn't look at the camera!
Lan-Lan P and her Daddy!
And with her Momma who was headed to the gym for the first time since school got out in June!!
We had to HURRY for these next pictures. It hasn't rained in I don't know how many days, but today Mother Nature decided it would be a fantastic day for rain! Doesn't she know I have traditional pix I have to take? With a THREE year old?!
I only got one shot at this picture since it was starting to rain a little harder. Would've been nice to actually have time to get all set and focused and all that jazz!
As we were walking Landry in, she really didn't want us there. She kept asking why Miss Karen couldn't get her out of the car. She wanted to do carpool, (because Sis does it) we had to explain to her that there isn't carpool on the first day. I was SO NOT READY for that one! She immediately wanted to know if the next day Miss Karen could get her out of the car...on the second day of school...whoa!
She left us at the door and we had to call her back out to give us hugs and kisses. She is an old pro at the preschool thing....who needs parents? She walked right in, put up her backpack, walked over to the sink to wash her hands and found a spot at the table to get busy. She didn't even look over at the door to see if we were still standing there.
She was so cute doing this interview...and I wasn't surprised by any of her answers....they are all our typical Landry!
When I picked her up, she blew right by me to give Miss Karen a hug and asked her if she would get her out of the car on Wednesday when she came to school. It's nice to know she missed me! It just goes to show how much of a one track mind she has!
I let her decide what she wanted to do for her "first day treat". I told her we could go to lunch just her and I or we could wait until after we picked up Ashton from school to get a slushy or yogurt. She chose lunch with Mommy. We went to Chick Fil-A at the mall...which is one of her favorite places.
As soon as we got home, she pulled off the shoes and socks, took down her hair (which is her norm) and then she showed me her first piece of artwork from her 3's class. She LOVED the dot marker!
I am so glad she had a great day and I think she is going to have a fabulous school year!

looks like she had a great first day! :)
I'm glad you went on to explain about her hair. When I saw the pic with the artwork I thought, "Boy, it must have been a rowdy day at preschool." She is growing up so fast!
You got some great first day pics...rain and all! I love how independent she wants to be. So cute! I think it will be a great year. :-)
