Kidtoons.

Yesterday, the girls and I had some girl time while Daddy went on an outing with his boys.  I had heard about Kidtoons at Studio Movie Grill and thought this might be the best way to get Landry to a movie...especially after our disastrous attempt at the dollar theater last summer.  The Kidtoon playing this month just happened to be Olivia which also happens to be one of her favorite tv shows these days.

She was so beyond excited...Ashton on the other hand was less than thrilled. She couldn't believe I was dragging her to a "baby movie" and she was just sure it was going to be the worst day of her 8.5 year old life.  Once I explained to her that everyone would know she was only going to be a good big sister, she was a little more on board. And besides she was going to get some movie theater popcorn and an icee so that was at least worth it.

Landry was happy to pose for me...she even wanted to stand under the tv hanging on the wall because she thought it was the Rangers (even though it wasn't)....whatever works and gets me a good picture!

She enjoyed the view from my lap better than in her own chair.

ARB had never been to Studio Movie Grill and thought it was the best way to see a movie.

Our special movie lunch....yummo!

This trip to the movies was a success...we stayed for the entire thing and for $2 a ticket it was perfect-a-mundo! We will be doing more of these Kidtoons in the future!
