Cubs Game #3...Canceled

On Saturday we had some very special visitors spend the day with us. Grammy, Grampy, and Ninny drove up from Lorena and Auntie Heather and Brodie came just down the road in Lewisville to hang with us before Ashton's softball game. Grammy and Grampy would love to come watch Miss ARB play softball every weekend, but it just isn't realistic so they always make it a point to come up for at least one of her games. Grammy finally finished traveling with basketball but she is in full swing with her spring sports (tennis and equestrian) which keep her weekends pretty busy. She had  this weekend free so instead of enjoying the time at home, they came up to see us instead.

Once everyone arrived, we went had a yummilicious lunch at Scotty P's then took them on a tour of our new house which is almost finished being built. After Lan-Lan's nap the girls colored Easter Eggs and we just hung out and visited.

Ashton's game was at 7:30 so we loaded up and headed to the field hoping the thunderstorms would wait until after the game. As soon as we got to the field (we didn't even get out of the car) we learned the game was canceled due to lightening in the area. Bummer!

So everyone spent the day with us and didn't get to see a game. We enjoyed visiting especially since we don't get to do it very often. Before we left for the game, I snapped a few pictures of our Star Softball Player with her fans...oh and our Star Little Sisser joined the pix too!
