Coloring Easter Eggs

Coloring Easter eggs is one our favorite things to do. The girls love to make them purdy and then add their personal touches . This year we bought two boxes of dye because we couldn't decide which one to go with: Classic with Glitter or Eggtoos.

The girls were pumped to try out the new kinds...I was a little nervous because in the past, we have found out the hard way that they aren't always as easy as they look. We gave them a try and we were pleasantly surprised!

Even though Landry is 3, she thinks she is 12 and she thinks she can do everything by herself. She wasn't too jazzed that Daddy had to help her get the eggs into the colors...she realized if she wanted to do it, she had to have help.

The pink and purple glitter eggs were her faves of the day!

She was NOT a happy camper when all of her eggs were finished...she wanted to do Ashton's too. Daddy had to pick her up and  carry her away from the eggs like a sack of sugar. I just wanna pinch those cute lil naptime jammie buns of hers!  That would have royally ticked her off so it was a good thing I was being the Mamarazzi!
Miss ARB could have totally done the eggs all by herself but she indulged her Daddy and let him help her...she is a 100% Daddy's Girl that is for sure!
Concentration.

I love the freckles and blue eyes on that Big Girl of mine!

Landry LOVES phones and will play with anyone's phone who will let her. Auntie Heather has a soft spot so she let LP dig her phone out of her purse. While Landry was "playing" with Auntie Heather's phone, Brodie call her from his phone across the room. LP was so surprised and had a fun little convo with Brodie.

The girls' eggs turned out pretty good. Ashton put some eggtoos on hers and Landry covered every inch of her eggs with every single sticker that came in the kit.  Before they headed to bed, they left their eggs out for the Easter Bunny to hide.

WOW...those glitter eggs are WAY COOL! we will have to try those for sure! i've done the same thing in the past - discovered those special kits aren't as easy as they look - and have just stopped trying! but these we will have to give a shot.
