While I am loving that Landry is getting older and that she is getting to the point where she and Ashton can do more things together, I am not loving that it means she is getting older and so is Ashton. I love the bond these two girls of ours have....even though there is a 5.5 year age difference that sometimes (actually alot of times) gets in the way, they do have tons of moments where they get along so well. Moments like these I cherish!
Landry's most favorite person on the planet is her Sisser. She wants to do everything Ashton does. She wants to say and have everything Ashton does. She wants to spend as many moments with her as she can. So when she got her very own sleeping bag for her birthday, she couldn't wait to have a "sleepover with her Sisser in their sleeping bags".
We weren't really sure how this would go, but we decided that we would try this fun little experiment. Since Ashton doesn't have school tomorrow, we decided that tonight would be a fun night to test it out.
So when Ashton got home from dance this evening, they put on jammies and set up their sleeping bags in Landry's room. The girls were super duper excited....especially Landry.
She walked around with her sleeping bag on her back and was bouncing off the walls waiting for Ashton get her jammies on.
They were ready for the first ever Bryce Sisser Sleepover to begin!

...and these two sweet sissers were tucked into their sleeping bags and were ready for their big sleepover.
I am sure we will have many more of these fun sleepovers in our future!

That is so sweet! Memories they will always share. There is nothing like seeing your kids bond....what a heart warmer!
