Merry Main Street!

A Christmas tradition that we have each year is to go to Merry Main Street.  The town square is decorated with lights and the lights are set to some fabulous holiday tunes.  You can tune your radio to hear the music and as you drive through the square we get to enjoy the lights dancing along with the music. It is so beautiful and the girls LOVE the lights.  Along with the light show, there are lots of fun activities going on as well like horse drawn carriage rides, trackless train rides, snow, and Santa to name just a few.

This year we decided to make it quick since Landry had an ear infection (although you would never have known it) and since it was getting close to bedtime for the girls. Earlier in the week we had planned on going out to dinner then doing Merry Main Street, but since LP was still in her first 24 hours of being on an antibiotic for her ear, we couldn't take her out.  So...Daddy went and picked up Rudy's BBQ and brought it home for us to have instead.

Before we headed out...I wanted to snap a few pix of the girls...
Ashton was in a silly mood  (a change from her usual picture taking pose) which made for some good pix.

And then, Landry insisted on wearing these sunglasses even though it was dark!

Another part of the Bryce Fam Merry Main Street tradition is a trip to Starbucks. The girls had a juice treat while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed our Carmel Brulees.

The lights were beautiful and the new blue ones were a hit with both girls this year.

My fave pic of the night....I just love how she is illuminated sippin on her cider!

One of the neatest things of the night was the snow machine. The girls didn't care that it was fake snow...they had a blast in it!

The weather was perfect...it wasn't terribly crowded yet, and even though we didn't get on any of the 'extras' because of Landry's ear, we still had a great time. I love this time of year and I love our family traditions!  I only wish I knew how to take pictures at night better...we still have the memories and that is what counts!
