A little piece of history was being made in our big city...the Texas Rangers were in the World Series for the first time in franchise history and since Daddy is a big Rangers fan, this was even more exciting for him. Daddy was hoping things would work out and that he and Papo would get to go to Game 5 together.
As we were pulling out of our driveway to take LP to her swimming lessons on Monday morning, Daddy found out that he WAS in fact going to go to the game with Papo. And so the last minute planning began. After swimming lessons, we did a little shopping so Daddy and Papo would have something appropriate to wear to the game and two pair of foam antlers might have made their way into Daddy's basket for the girls too.
So it was planned...the boys would go to the game and the girls would have a girls dinner at Uncle Julio's. It worked out that Daddy's friends Mr. Nathan and Mr. Martin were already going to the game themselves so when Daddy found out he and Papo were going, they all decided to ride together even though they weren't sitting together.
Before the boys left, we took a few pictures and gave them some explicit directions on what pictures they had to take while at the game.
Antlers Up baby...this is a thing the Rangers and Ranger fans do.

Daddy loved this picture not only because of the beautiful sunset but also because you could see the top of the new Cowboys Stadium.
Even though this was the last game of the series (since the Giants won), Daddy and Papo had an absolute blast! It was a memory they will remember forever. Daddy is so glad he had the chance to go to a World Series game with the Rangers in it, but even more than that he is glad he had the chance to go with his Dad.
