A Little Girl Chef Party...

Today we helped Anna celebrate her 6th birthday with the cutest and most perfect Little Girl Chef Party ever! Miss Gina did an excellent job planning every little detail. This year, all the party norms were different. Grayson and Anna have always celebrated their birthdays together, but this year, GT wanted to have a boy  sports party at The Fieldhouse so Anna got to have a girl party. It all worked out in the end and everyone had fun, it is just hard adjusting to things being different for the first time.

Miss Gina made this darling invitation...
The kids were instructed to come in play clothes because there was chance they might get dirty between cooking and using fabric paint!

As soon as everyone arrived, they washed hands and gathered at the table to make their very own calzones...this was a first for my kids for sure (I don't cook cool stuff like that in our house so they were ecstatic)!
The looks on their faces as they were making their calzones tells you how much they were enjoying themselves...

Chef Macy
Chef Ashton
Chef Kate
Chef Landry
As a party favor, each of the girls got a really cute little apron so there just had to be a picture...

While their calzones were cooking, the kids made their own fruit kabobs (so cute) and played a guessing game where they had their eyes closed and a mommy put something in their mouth and they had to raise their hand and guess what it was, and if they were right, they got to pick a prize. (This was one of the activities GT participated in during the party). It was such a fun game!

The kids loved their calzones and fruit kabobs!

Miss Gina MADE this cake (she is so talented and has shared her knowledge with me and Jodi)

A bird's eye view of the super cute table set up...after the dinner and cake and ice cream they decorated their own little placemats. It was all so cute and color coordinated too!
Peek-a-boo birthday girl!
How cute are these goody bags bowls? Miss Gina had us email her two of each of the girls' favorite recipes and she typed them up and made them their own little recipe books complete with some cooking necessities!

Moving right along to the presents...
The SIX year old birthday girl ready to go!

After the party festivities were over, the kids had so much fun just playing together while us Mommas had a chance to chit-chat. The girls had a wonderful time celebrating Anna's birthday with her. It was a cute party and we love that we had the chance to celebrate with her.

Happy 6th Birthday Anna!!

(once again thanks to Miss Jodi I have pictures, I took some but I was busy helping the two year old participate in the fun party activities so my picture taking was not a stellar performance this time)
