Grammy & Ninny

We love having visitors and this time the girls literally could not wait for Grammy and Ninny to arrive.  Daddy was out of town for work and Grammy wanted to come up and watch Landry's swimming lesson so, she did just that and brought Ninny along with her.

Grammy had requested that Ashton make something with her Easy Bake Oven the next time she came to visit. Well, Ashton was all kinds of excited to have the chance to use her oven! She picked out cookies as the thing to make for our special guests...

While Ashton was busy baking, Landry was playing Hide and Seek with Grammy. The funniest part was when she decided the best hiding spot was in Ninny's lap with her face buried in Ninny's shoulder. I love the way she thinks that if she can't see you, then you can't possibly see her.

I am not quite sure who got a bigger kick out of the game, Landry or Ninny!

After we had a yummy spaghetti dinner, we just had to have something for dessert. And of course a sno cone from the Sno Cone Lady was the perfect treat.  After Landry was dressed and actually had her hair pulled back out of her face, we loaded up and headed out...

When it comes to sno cones....Landry is all business...you are lucky if she even looks up and takes a breath!  She tries to eat as much as she can before I take it away and tell her she has had enough.

She had to dip-n-dap into everyone else's sno cone...you know just to check out their flavor. In fact, we all tasted each other's.

ooohhhh....lucky me I caught her looking away from her tasty treat!

I tried to get the obligatory "tongue"picture but LP was way to busy eating...good thing ARB cooperated for me!

We had a quite enjoyable evening followed by a fun morning. Ninny and Grammy went with us to Landry's swimming lesson then we grabbed some lunch at "Chick-A-Lave".  When Landry went down for her nap, our special visitors headed home so they wouldn't get caught in any traffic.

We enjoyed our short visit and can't wait for the next one!
