Vacay ~ Day 2

Today is Day 2 of our vacation. 

The very first thing the girls did when they woke up this morning was eat breakfast at the bar....on the bar stools...much higher than a regular old table like we have at home! They were both so tickled with this little out of the norm treat and I thought it made such a cute little picture!

There is something about bed head and jammies that makes little girls look so cute!

This little munchkin thought she was HOT stuff eating out of a glass bowl (which made me super nervous) but the grandparents said it was fine with them so who am I to argue!

After we finished with breakfast and packed we headed to Tennessee which is only an hour and half drive to visit the fam and spend some time at the lake.

We got to Grandmom's house right around lunch time so we enjoyed lunch and lots of visiting with her, Aunt Kathi and Uncle Jack. Although I am not quite sure how I managed to not take one single picture of Aunt Kathi and Uncle Jack.

Papo let Landry help him open his birthday presents...

Mamo and Ashton....Anytime we are around Mamo, you will usually find Ashton snuggled up with Mamo in her lap.

Landry didn't have a nap while we were visiting, but when she got tired she grabbed all of her "nap essentials" and climbed up on Grandmom's coffe table~you know just in case she wanted to go to sleep, which she didn't. She just "rested" a little so she could have her bink!

I love this picture because it captures us all looking in different directions!

After our visit at Grandmom's we went to Mamo-the-Great's house for some dinner and visiting with her.  Once we had Landry in bed, the rest of us enjoyed a lovely game of Skip-Bo on the  back porch.

Our view from the back porch while we played cards...it was a beautiful evening and a perfect way to spend the second day of our vacation!

    

Ashton loved having some time with everyone once Sisser was in bed....she worked on her shuffling and dealing skills.
