We had the Olson's back in town for a nice little holiday visit for a couple of days. We have been quite spoiled seeing them several times in the last month...it is almost like they are living back in the Big D and I am loving it!
Today the Mitchells had planned a post-Holiday/Pre-New Year's Eve/Housewarming Party at their new house. Unfortunately, since sweet baby Allie was sick, they had to post-pone. We decided that since everyone had already had the evening planned, and since the Olsons were in town, we would have a get together at our house. It turned out to be a super fun evening with the adults playing our own version of the Newlywed Game (even though none of us are newlyweds) while the babies went to bed at their regular bedtime and the big kids played. Mr. Kelly also brought a surprise cake for Miss Beth since her birthday is tomorrow.
Landry didn't want her hair re-done after her nap and I didn't fight her on it...she looks like such a hot mess, seriously who is that child's mother?!

It was an entertaining evening to say the least, we missed the Scheers and the Mitchells and can't wait for the next time we can all hang out again. As a bonus, it even snowed which was nice for the third time this winter and in a matter of weeks.
