Earlier in the week Daddy had taken the girls shopping to get some presents so Landry kind of began to get the idea that something fun was going on. When Daddy brought Landry out of her room, she smiled her giant smile and said "Hap BertdayMommy" over and over followed by a super tight hug. And no birthday morning is complete until I get the tightest squeeze ever from my BG....she has done this for as long as I can remember!
Daddy took Little Miss Ashton to school and Landry continued with the "bertday" wishes all day long! We got ready and went to her holiday lunch with her friends.
Daddy and the girls gave me my presents and cards...
Landry couldn't wait to show me her card...she was pretty proud of her "wi-ting"
And my Big Girl made my card which are my favorite kind of cards....ever!
After the present festivities, they took me out to dinner. I was able to pick...I picked a yummy Mexican place close by since we had some little girls' trees to decorate tonight. Fajitas, guacamole, margarita, chips and hot sauce...perfecto!
Daddy got cupcakes instead of a cake. These chocolate and peanut butter cupcakes are yummmm-o! After I blew out my candle, Landry said "Turn on....I blow out." I think she will really love it when her birthday comes in a month.

Daddy picked a strawberry shortcake cupcake for our Big Girl
I love this picture of the girls....Landry's new thing is to hike her pants up to her knees which is usually followed by pulling off her socks and shoes. 
My daughter, the photographer, took these pics of me and Daddy. I think she did a pretty great job!
After the cupcake fun, it was time to decorate the trees for the girls' rooms and hopefully get our big tree up too.
It was an awesome birthday...thanks Ashton, Landry and Daddy! You guys sure do know how to make your Mommy feel special!

precious precious precious!! aren't birthdays so much more fun with kids?? what a super celebration, and those cupcakes... oh those cupcakes. every time you talk about them (the choco/pb), my mouth WATERS. YUM!!
I totally thought the Hap Bertday was a Jagger signature, of COURSE landry says it the exact same way! I really can't say Happy Birthday to people anymore, it's always HAP BERTDAY. :)
