Holy Moly...time has really gotten away from us. This time of year is always pretty hectic, but it seems to be a little more so this year and I am not sure why.
We usually get our trees up and the house decorated for Christmas right after Thanksgiving. This year we had company and a really busy Sunday so that didn't quite happen. And during the week is hard to get this type of thing done, so we had to wait until this weekend. I knew I wanted to get the trees up on Friday even though it was my birthday.
We were able to get the girls' trees in their rooms up and decorated and our tree up on Friday. We decorated our tree today and finished the rest of the decorations .
This was the first year that Landry has had her very own tree in her room...she LOVES it! This girl was super excited and loved helping...

This year we added a few new decorations for the girls...a tree and bell in the playroom, and bells hanging in from the mirror in each of the girls' bathrooms. Landry loves to walk us into her room to show us her lights and her bells. She also loves to go from room to room and having us turn on the christmas tree lights every morning.
I love this time of the year...I love the fun the girls have putting up their trees with their very own ornaments and how they decorate our tree. This year we have clumps of balls in low places and I love it. We usually move and spread out the ornaments after Ashton decorates them, but this year we decided to leave the ornaments exactly where the girls put them...and I love it!
