"Mamo's & Papo's Treat Box" for the girls came at just the perfect time. It was full of lots of fun crafts and since Ashton was sick with flu, she had plenty of time to work on the crafts.
So this afternoon, Daddy went out to get Ashton's prescription filled and run a few other errands. He suprised the girls with a slushy from Sonic. The girls only ever get apple juice or orange juice slushies...but the people at Sonic gave Daddy a regualar orange slushy instead of an orange juice slushy....this was a real treat for the girls! Thank goodness they were sharing it!
So after both girls took a nap and Daddy brought them a slushy to share...
...we busted out one of the crafty kits and made Halloween pictures {yesterday Ashton made Candy Corn Garland from one of the crafts in the treat box}
This is what I got when I asked the girls to smile for me...Landry wasn't letting go of her princess cup and slushy until she finished every last drop!
Landry had a BLAST....because if Sissy is doing it, by golly she has to do it to!
Ashton took a break from her craft to snap some pics of Lil Sis....check out the drool on LP's chin she loved her slushy!

And both girls' first finished pieces...Landry's spells her name...you just have to hunt for it! We ended up putting magnet on the back so we could hang them on the fridge...actually Mamo & Papo are going to get hang them on their fridge!
What a fun little treat that made Ashton feel not so bored...the only symptoms she had were a fever and cough...as soon as her Tylenol or Motrin kicked in, you couldn't even tell she was sick. She had her normal appetite, drank her fluids like a champ, and had a fun time being "crafty"!

I love they that love doing crafts:) I hope kaylie does too...:) We got those same cups for their bday last weekend! It will probably be a year until they can drink out of them...haha!

SO MUCH FUN! amazing how you can't even tell that ashton was sick! i'm so glad that the treat box arrived just in time to provide entertainment! love all their cute artwork!

Talk about great timing with the box of goodies! The girls look like they just had a blast with it all :) And nothing beats Sonic slushies! I had one today :) Cute, cute, cute post!
