We have had several very warm days here this week...so tonight, we decided to take advantage of it. We ran to Home Depot to get a few things, then grabbed some dinner from Which Wich for our picnic at the park! It ended up being quite windy, but neither of the girls cared much...but we kept our park time short regardless.This was Landry's first trip to the park since she has been able to walk and we just knew she would love it. And Ashton, well she loves to go to the park anytime she can. She thought it would be fun to "play" with Landry at the park...but Landry is still a little to slow for Ashton. Being the great Big Sis she is, she did play with Landry a little.

Landry thought she was "hot stuff" since she was up above us on the bridge to the slide with Ashton...it didn't take her long to figure out what to do!

Landry got to go solo after Ashton was off to bigger and better slides...tunnel slides!

Landry thought it was so fun to walk down this step...a normal step was giant to her! She would have preferred that I wasn't helping her...not yet Miss Independent!

I couldn't resist her little baby/toddler hands grasping the step...I don't want to forget those chubby wittle fingers!
One of the highlights for Landry...the wood chips. How could she not love them...she only landed in them umpteen jillion times! Walking on wood chips is hard to do when you have bitty legs and aren't the strongest walker yet. And yes....she did try to taste them...are we surprised....nope!
...and climbing the steps....climbing is a new skill for her thanks to the rocking chair we gave her. This was her first experience with steps and she did it like a pro!* * * * * *
We had a ton of fun even though we almost blew away...we enjoyed watching Landry experience the park walking instead of riding in a stroller or being carried around. Today she only wanted to swing for a few minutes...she had other things to explore. Watching Ashton go from place to place and say "look at me!" is another thing we will never get tired of doing!
We are so glad the weather is getting warmer...we look forward to many days and evenings playing outside!!!

this is perfect park weather! Lovin it! the girls look adorable as ever, and landry is movin and groovin now on those cute little legs of hers! happy almost spring!
well if that isn't the cutest thing! they look adorable...i'm so glad that they enjoyed their first trip to the park "together"!!! HOORAY for warmer days!
