Every Friday Ashton's school has an assembly called "Friday Morning Live". One of the things featured each week at FML is the Movement song. The PE teachers choose a group of kiddos from each grade to come up on stage and be helpers with the song. Ashton was chosen to be a helper today! She is such a performer and never ever gets stage fright...she has this confidence about her that I know I didn't have when I was six years old.
She did great....except we don't have any pictures and it is all mommy's fault. You see, I had unloaded pictures off of our camera the night before. Daddy was supposed to back up the computer then delete the card. So I left the card in the computer. When we got to Ashton's school the next morning, what do you know....we have the mega zoom lens, but no card! So "plan B" was to run out to the car and get our handy new diaper bag camera...only that didn't take very good pics since Daddy wasn't close enough. Bummer!
We did get video, but it has many other children in it and I don't want to put them on the internet without parent permission...I think that is the teacher in me! At least we have "textual" documentation for the blog book....
