Here's our birthday girl...
...at her par-tay!
Sweet Sisters ...

I
made Landry's cake...only because I found this really neat pan that makes a giant cupcake and thought it would be super cute for her to have her very own giant cupcake for her birthday cake. So we did white cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes for the guests. This was only accomplished with the expertise of my friends Gina and Jodi. Gina is the best cook/baker and she makes the greatest and cutest cakes. She has taught Jodi how to make the greatest and cutest cakes with all of her tricks and tips so Jodi came over on Saturday night and helped me frost the cupcakes and make Gina's frosting. If it wasn't for Jodi, Landry wouldn't have her name on her cake...I was too scared to do it! Actually, I was so scared of the whole frosting experience! Thanks for your help Jodi...you rock and it was fun to do!

This little chick
so got the hang of opening presents. She was super fun to watch!

Checking out more presents....

She absolutely
LOVES books...

Everyone singing "Happy Birthday" to her...

She loved the cake, but
did not love the icing on her hands!

The 1st Birthday Princess in her throne with her cake and water....

Her first taste of ice cream....yummmmmm-oooooooo!

After she finished her cake she played peek-a-boo for Mr. Bill. He was kind enough to take all of these pictures so Daddy could video tape and Mommy could do party stuff! Thanks Mr. Bill!

And after a super quick bath (so quick she cried when I took her out because she didn't get to play long enough) she decided she wanted to play ball a bit. Not sure what that look is all about!

By this point, most of the guests had left...We let the big kids play for a few more minutes and Jodi, Gina, and I were sitting at the table talking. Landry was clingy so I put her on the table in front of me with some cheerios. Next thing I know, she has dumped the
entire container onto the table. She had a blast eating, kicking and squishing cheerios. What do I do...grab the camera. Then I handed it over to Jodi and she got some awesome shots!

We forgot to put her birthday hat on her during the party...so why not do it during her "cheerio party"...

Then she put the cheerios
in her hat...they tasted just as good to her!

precious little one year old face...looking in her cheerio container!

I just love this picture of her sweet chubby little foot....

When we went back to get jammies on for bed...she climbed up in her rocking chair and was "chillin" with her leg up!
We had such a great party with family and friends. Thank you to my family who drove up from Lorena to be here. Thank you to our awesome group of friends who took time out of their Sunday to help us celebrate Miss Landry's special day. We missed having those who couldn't make it! This is one lucky little girl...she has so many people that love her!
Happy First Birthday Landry Paige...We love you!
