Mamo, Papo, Mamo-the-Great, and Uncle Todd (Bobby's family minus his sister and her crew) came to visit us for Christmas this year. We spent Ashton's first Christmas with them in Colorado so we were super excited that Landry was going to get to experience her first Christmas with them too!They arrived on Tuesday and Ashton was beside herself with excitement! She had been counting down the days until the Alabama Bryces arrived...for literally the entire month of December. She even called them on the Tuesday before just to remind them that it was only one more week until they were coming to her house to visit...for Christmas! You put the fact they were coming to visit and Christmas was coming...you had one VERY excited 6 year old little girl!
So their plane was scheduled to arrive at 2:00 in the afternoon...and that caused a small teensy weensy dilemma. Ashton wanted to go with her Daddy to pick them up from the airport really, really bad, but that was "supposed" to be Landry's naptime. There wouldn't have been enough room in the car for 5 adults, 1 child and suitcases. So...Ashton needed me to be able to go too in my car. How in the world could we disappoint this girl...she was super excited! We put Landry down for a morning nap (she had been taking one pretty much the whole time Ashton had been on break) and she would be good to go....Nope! She.didn't.sleep.at.all! So I put her down for an afternoon nap right after lunch hoping she would be up in time to go. Well she was up in time...because she didn't sleep a wink! I think that baby girl was just as excited to see her grandparents and Uncle Todd as her big sister was! She didn't sleep in the car either...LOVELY!
Anyway, we all got to the airport and waited by the baggage claim for the Alabama Bryces to come through the rotating door. Ashton was the first one to spot them...and ran as fast as she could go to give great big hugs!
After we got home and settled for a bit, we went to dinner at Babes and had planned on getting Starbucks and doing Merry Main Street. But by the time we finished supper it was 6:30 and Landry was beginning to shut down for the night. It was very cold and rainy so we decided to head home for bed time and bath time.

Landry and Uncle ToddDay one of the Alabama Bryce visit was great...even with a baby girl working on 3 new teeth and no nap! Lots of excitement in our house. Buster even got off his bed...A LOT! That is HUGE!

Wow, you do a great job with this blog, I finally got a chance to look at it! The girls are adorable! I'm sure it has been a wonderful holiday for you all. Thanks for sharing! Maybe our girls will meet in the future!
