Saturday...7.19.08

Bobby’s parents have a great backyard with several bird feeders and two hummingbird feeders. There are so many pretty and different birds that come to eat. The ducks even come up from the pond behind their yard to eat bird food off the ground. Ashton loves to sit back there and watch the birds. She even tries to use the binoculars. Sometimes she hangs out in the hammock with her Mamo and Papo and tells stories and sings songs.

We spent a lot of time in the backyard in the late afternoon and evening when it wasn’t so hot. Bobby and his dad set up the inflatable pools for both Ashton and Landry. I am convinced Ashton will swim in anything that has water. I’m not talking splash around…I am talking swim…holding your breath, going under, kicking, and even diving for dive sticks...goggles and all!

It didn't take Landry long to enjoy snuggles from her Mamo and Papo!

Ashton loves to help fill the bird feeders...she did this while the water in the pool warmed up.

The girls were worn out from both the long car ride the day before and playing hard in the pools The adults played some cards which is always a tradition at the Alabama Bryce house! Fun. Fun. Fun.
