We went to the movies to see the new American Girl Movie “Kit Kittredge”. She was so excited she could hardly stand it. She and Macy both got the “movie shirts” for them and their dolls because you can’t go see the American Girl movie and leave your American Doll at home! They had it planned out they would wear their denim skirts and shirts. They looked so stinkin’ cute! The girls even had their hair match their dolls in pony tails and piggy tails.
Ashton had a special movie theater snack…popcorn and an Icee. The movie was cute and the funniest thing was to hear the girls’ comments every once in a while throughout the movie. Here are some:
Ashton: (as the movie is starting…it is set back in the days of the Depression) “This is old school”
Macy: (Later in the movie) “This is weird.”
Ashton: (Again later in the movie…and giggling…when one of the characters is clumsy) “He is such a clumsy-wumsy”
I just had to chuckle at them…those girls make me smile and I am so glad they get to experience things like this for the first time together! They truly are best friends!!
Mommy & Ashton...Girls Day Out
Macy and "Sarah" & Ashton and "Elizabeth"
The girls in front of the Kit Kittredge movie sign...the only one they had
We took them to see their first movie EVER when they were almost three. They saw Winnie the Pooh’s Heffalump.
I enjoy getting to spend one-on-one time with just Ashton…now that Landry is here, it doesn’t happen as much as it used to and Ashton has been such a trooper about it. She and I both looked forward to today.

Hi Erin! These posts that you and Jodi did are TOO cute. I just love the old pics of when they were so itty bitty! Let me know if you need help figuring out the guestbook thing... it's easy. Just create a posting, and then click on that post title (which gives you the individual link), and then create a "LINK" page element and copy/paste that link into the address. Then you're set! :)
