She had her 4 month check up yesterday and at this point she still could care less about going. To her it is just more people to hold her and talk to her. This time the paper on the table was a new and fun experience for her. She squirmed and kicked and it made noise like many of her toys which she loved. She did have to get 4 more shots (Daddy was there this time) and an oral dose of one of the vaccines…she sucked it down like a champ!
She had quite the little growth spurt…she is 24 ½ inches long and weighs 12 pounds 13 ounces (I was hoping for 13 pounds but that is pretty close). She has doubled her birth weight and added 13 extra ounces. She is slightly lighter than most babies her age but for her she has done great so the doctor is happy! We got clearance to start her on rice cereal so read on to see pictures and video!
I quickly realized that taking her monthly picture in her rocking chair is going to need to require 2 people from now on. She has figured out how to be a “bucking bronco”. I would get her all set up and by the time I got the camera ready, she bucked herself out of position. I was able to get a couple of good ones. She also does this bucking thing every time I put her in her carseat.
