I really think these monthly posts full of random pictures are my faves. I love the little everyday moments and I love capturing us as we are most days.
someone snatched my phone and took a cute little "selfie"
Ashton went on a field trip to see a symphony at UNT..she was instructed to dress nicely.
{ I love when her Daddy Daughter Dance dress can be worn more than once!}
Oh, wait....not everyone watches their Big Sister play a game on her iTouch in their panties?!
Well, since that is how Landry rolls most of time when we are at home, it is hard not to capture it.
I picked up the pictures from the Daddy Daughter Dance...I am always anxious to see how they turn out since I am not there to see them taken. {Daddy was out of town when I picked them up so I texted them to him. I was pleased with how they turned out.}
One of the things that melts my heart like nothing else is seeing how much Landry adores and worships her Big Sis. We were taking Ashton to softball practice and Landry was insistent that she take her bag so she could be just like Ashton. I hope Ashton enjoys this because I am not sure it will last forever, but I do know they have a special Sister Bond that I adore!
I am trying to eat healthier and I tried a new recipe for lunch I found on Pinterest. It was actually good especially with the pepper on top! Boiled egg, avocado, greek yogurt on a Wasa cracker.
Family Game Night! We love that Landry can play UNO...now we are just working on the life lesson that you don't always win and you have to be a good sport even when you lose!
Lunch Date with my Big Girl! I love this time when she and I get out just the two of us. This gives us the chance to chat about girl stuff that isn't always appropriate for the 5 year old to hear. I love spending time with her!
Ashton and I read the book Wonder...and we chatted about it. It is such a great book that I highly recommend to anyone. I loved this quote found in the book. We really want our girls to be kind people and this was a good little topic for discussion with Ashton.
Weekly after school treat with my girls. This is one of my favorite things to do with them. They get to choose the spot and we enjoy a treat while chatting. I won't always have this time with them!
Doing homework on the patio because the weather is beautiful!
While Sissy is doing her homework, Landry enjoyed some time in the yard with her giant ball!
Baking with my big girl...we made a delicious chocolate chip bundt cake. The recipe came from Mix & Match Momma's blog...she makes pretty much any kind of bundt cake you can imagine.
