Yesterday's game was the PINK OUT game for breast cancer awareness...and we were all pretty "tickled pink" to wear our pink BU gear. The day was full of lots of fun, great basketball, and some extra special memories.
I forgot to bring my big camera so I was left with only the camera on my phone...but I still documented our day of fun!
{The view from our seats}
{These two cute little 5 year old cousins}
Auntie Heather gave Ashton this sign a while back and Miss A was pretty excited to bring it to wave during the games. In fact, someone tried to take it from her...how rude!
Lan-Lan P doing her best Sic Em Bears...love it!
We love this life sized Britney on the wall...and Parker and Landry wanted to get their picture taken in font of Britney...and it cracks me up how teeny they look!
And of course, we made Ashton stand in front of it too!
Momma and her future Baylor Bear!
After the game, the girls were able to go down on the floor and run around. We loved that they had this pink ribbon around the BU on the court.
They are sitting in the same seats that the Lady Bears sit their sweaty bottoms in during every game. Again, super cool for the girls!
And BONUS...we were waiting for Grammy to get done with her work stuff and low and behold, Coach Kim Mulkey stopped and chatted with girls and even took a quick picture with them!
And if they weren't already star struck after seeing Coach Kim, they were even more so when Britney Griner stopped to sign Ashton's poster and take a picture with the girls. She was so nice to the girls and we appreciated both of them taking the time to stop and say hi! Thanks Grammy!!
After we left all the fun at the Ferrell Center, we went out onto the campus to get a few pictures and to see the bears. I love this campus and I love that I get to share my love with my hubby and my girls.
I mentioned before that I wanted to include the pictures I put on Instagram when they pertain to a certain blog post. So below you will see the pix I put on Instagram documenting our day at Baylor.
Our annual trip to Baylor was a long, but really fun day. Not only did we get to see a game, but we got to see our family too. Hopefully now that Landry is a little holder, she will be able to hang with us for a football game...but if not, we will definitely come down and catch another Lady Bear Basketball Game!
