Exchange Day For Lan-Lan

Apple Creek does their holiday celebration a little different than most schools. Since they have many different cultures and not everyone celebrates Christmas, they use this as an opportunity for every family to share their family traditions with their friends.

Each child is allowed to bring in something that tells about their family tradition and they give one to each student in the class. They kiddos take their bags of goodies home to go through with their parents. We always let the girls choose which tradition they wanted to share. Landry was pretty excited  and she worked really hard on items for the big exchange.

Landry loves the fact that she gets to have a mini tree decorated in her room and she loves our Christmas tree, so she wanted to give everyone an ornament for Exchange Day.

We printed a little card to go on the ornaments and she signed her name all by herself!

She was so happy to take her sparkly glitter ornaments with turquoise tulle for the girls (and red for the boys) to school to share with her friends.
