pumpkin carving, pizza & playing

Yesterday, after we had tons of fun at Pumpkins On The Prairie, the whole gang came back to our house for some playing, pizza, and pumpkin carving. 

The kiddos disappeared upstairs to play until it was time for them to assist with carving their pumpkin. Jodi, Gina and I had our cameras out and were clicking away...

After all the pumpkin fun, we also gave GT his birthday presents. Yes, we were fully aware that his birthday was waaaay back in September, but it has been that long since we've seen him. Since the kids are older and they do gender-specific birthday parties these days, we usually wait until we can all get together for dinner to celebrate the September birthdays. Lucky for us, GT is easy going and didn't mind celebrating his birthday in October!

This was one of my fave pictures of the night....Jodi was sharing her expertise on the newer model cameras with Gina. I sure do love these two girls!!

I love our traditions and I love that we still work on trying get them planned.
