Landry's Social

Our little social butterfly had a fabulous time at her first class social of the year. She was so excited to see her friends outside of school and didn't care that she was the ONLY girl there, because these boys are some of the friends she talks about everyday! They play all kinds of fun games at school, their favorites are with "Mr. Squeakers" in the sandbox and with the Marble Tower in centers.

The other room mom and I were in charge of planning this first one and we wanted to take advantage of the season and do it at a pumpkin patch. We opted for a local one rather than going out to Celina like we usually do. We had a great time even with the small turnout (several of the kids in her class do Stay-n-Play on MWF so they didn't come to our social).

The kids had a blast running around the contained pumpkin patch and playing in the bounce house after they scarfed down their picnic lunches. Us Mommas chatted and followed them around.

Ever since we've had such bad luck with her getting hurt so easily, this Momma has been a little more over-protective than usual. I haven't really let her on anything that bounces or makes her ankles unstable and trampolines were definitely out. She was so stinkin' excited when I let her get in the bounce house as long as she promised to be very careful. She did great and had so much fun bouncing with the boys!

It was a incredibly windy day, but otherwise a beautiful day! She had so much fun and was one sad little girl when it was time to go home! Good thing this was only the first social and there are several more throughout the rest of the year!
