Bryce-Leonard Sleepover

We had a fun weekend and I am pretty sure it made it to the girls' list of faves for the summer! 

During the school year, it is pretty difficult to hang out and do things with our favorite Leonard peeps just because everyone is so busy with what you call "LIFE with kids".  All summer long Macy and Ashton have been planning to have a sleepover so they could spend some QT together--just the two of them. We finally found a weekend that worked for everyone and we made it happen.

We went to the Leonards for dinner and some hangout time, then when it was time to leave we left Ashton to spend the night with Macy and we brought Carly home with us to spend the night with Landry.  We had 4 super excited kiddos on our hands!

I love me some BL...almost every time we get together, he takes a silly picture of himself with my phone. It is always a fun surprise when I discover it. {He is going to love that I put this on here- hee-hee!}

This is one of my faves of the Big Girls...this is Ashton's favorite shirt since MG gave it to her for her bday!
{and ARB wanted to give one to MG so we bought one to save for Macy's b-day in September}

All the girls were having movie time--Miss Jodi took our separate pix and put them together with a fun app on her phone!

After a movie and popcorn at the Bryce house, it was time for the Littles to hit the hay. They did really well, especially since this was the first time Carly has ever slept away from home without her "May-May".

Carly fell asleep right after Landry did, then woke up about an hour later. She came down to our room and said she couldn't sleep. She and I went back upstairs and slept in Landry's bed while LP was zonked on the playroom floor. I was so proud of both of them...I was shocked that Landry fell asleep without causing a ruckus and keeping Carly up, then I was proud of Carly for coming down to get me when she needed me!

When the girls woke up...they were the best little helpers in the kitchen! They helped make blueberry muffins  for breakfast!

After a rough start from a certain 4 year old {she was grumpy from being up late}, they had fun playing. They had the most delightful lunch from Subway just the two of them, and with the company of their baby dolls!

A 5 second lunch on the patio...it was super hot so they headed for the AC after the picture!

I love that Miss Jodi took this pic and texted it to me....as you can see, they were able to have some Big Girl dress up time which thrilled them to pieces!

Mr. Bill came to pick Carly up after lunch since a certain little girl in the Bryce house needed a nap. After Landry's nap, Daddy took her to the pool for some one-on-one swim time while I went to go pick up my Big Girl! Of course when I arrived, Ashton didn't want to go home with me!

The Sleepover was a total success...we are looking forward to the next one!
