AG Store with LP

Our littlest girl has had some money saved up and really wanted to spend it at the American Girl Store. She knew exactly what she wanted to purchase with her money which is no surprise at all!

She was beyond giddy when the day arrived that we had planned to take her to make her big purchase. She packed her purse, grabbed her baby and we were off.

 {I totally forgot my camera so I had to document the occasion with my phone, so the pix aren't fantastic.}

Since she knew what she wanted, it was a pretty easy trip. I was prepared for her to change her mind once we were inside the store. We perused the Bitty Baby section while she carefully looked at each and every item. We didn't find the baby carrier she wanted but, we discovered they have them in the back and not out on the floor. Good thing too, because she was on the verge of tears when we couldn't find the carrier.

Luckily, we had a super sweet lady helping us and she called for someone to bring one to the front for Landry. While we waited, Landry went ahead and paid for her purchase.

She plopped her purse down smack dab in the middle of the check out line and got all of her money out of her purse. Luckily, it wasn't terribly crowded so she had room to "spread out".

She was waiting very patiently and "explained" to her baby that they were bringing her carrier. Her convo with her baby was pretty cute!
The sweet lady helped Landry get her carrier out of the box and helped her get her baby all settled and comfy in the seat before we left the store.

Totally adorbs...and this little girl was so proud of herself!
It is always so much fun when (as a parent) you get to watch your kids use their  own money to buy things they really want. Even though this money wasn't earned since it was birthday money, it was  a great segway into earning her own allowance since we are finally beginning her job chart with her.
