Bama Vacay :: Day 6

One of the things I love is surprising the girls with the little things that I hope they will one day say, "Do you remember when Mommy let us ________?". I love the looks on their faces when I tell them they get to do something that either they haven't done before or is out of character for this Momma.  {After all, most of the time I am known as The Fun Ruiner}

 Last year on vacation, I let them have Daddy's birthday cake for breakfast...

...and this year, it was DANCING IN THE RAIN!!!

We really didn't do much today since it was a gloomy and rainy day. The girls were so bummed they couldn't go play in the backyard. By late afternoon, they were itching to get outside so they played on the screened in porch. Eventually, we all made our way out there to chat and watch the rain.

It wasn't raining hard, and there wasn't any thunder or lightning, so I told them they could go dance in the rain.  They both just stood there, looking at me like I had lost my marbles! 

Once they figured out I was serious and not just playing a practical joke on them, they bolted onto the patio and literally busted out some of their best dance moves. 

It was so much fun watching them dance in the rain!

After they finished dancing in the rain, they decided to play with the bubbles!

Mamo and Papo had a sign made for the Fewell Family to welcome them home from England. We all signed it and hung it on the garage for them to see as they drove up to the house.

We are so excited that we get to see the Fewells...tomorrow!
