Unfinished Business

This has been an INCREDIBLE year for my Baylor Bears! We are the only university to have three teams ranked in the top 25. Women's Basketball at #1, Men's Basketball at #8, and Football at #11....oh and not to mention we had the 2012 Heisman Trophy Winner--RG3!

With the Lady Bears ranked #1, we had a pretty decent chance to win our 2nd National Title. We have watched every game on TV and have loved every single second of it!

On Sunday, we had the first game of the Final Four and Daddy was out of town! While he was gone and before the game, us girls had a little fun.

Ashton went swimming at a friend's house, then I took the girls to the movies to see The Lorax.

Landry and I proudly wore our Baylor Gear so Ashton snapped a picture for us.

The motto and phrase Coach Kim used to motivate the team this year was "Unfinished Business". They made it to the Final Four last year, but lost to Texas A&M. 

They won on Sunday night so they played the title game on Tuesday. The game was on after the girls were in bed and since my Hubs was in NYC, I had to watch the game all by myself. I was a texting fool because I had no one to hi-5, no one to comment to, no one to share the victory with me. That is no way to watch a big game...that is for sure!!

The Baylor Lady Bears WON!!! I didn't want the girls to miss anything so I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures of the TV. Yes, you could say I'm a little weird and that is okay! It didn't take me long to remember I could hit the record button and record all the winning...which I did.  If you think about it, it was kinda smart of me to take pictures because now I have it documented on the blog!

I was so excited and at the same time so bummed because I wasn't there to see it in person!

I am so proud of the Lady Bears! I love that we are the National Champions and I love that there is a pretty good chance they'll be back to do it again next year since we don't lose any of our starters! 

I am and always have been proud to be a Baylor Bear. I love that my girls and my hubby share my love for all things Baylor. We are a green and gold house!
